Flame Out

About

Keep your flame burning by fending off water spirits with your fire blasts, and collecting heat particles to grow your flame. Everything you do as a flame costs heat, run out of heat and you lose.

Tip: Standing still slowly regenerates heat, a faster method is to collect heat particles from fallen enemies.

This game was made for theJingle Game Jam 2024 and although the jam was 7 days long, only 3 were used.

Web version has been updated since the Jam, however a windows download of the Jam version is still available.

Controls:

• WASD - Movement
• Left Click or Space - Shoot Fireball

The entire game was programmed in Python 3 with a game engine of my own creation. The game engine can be viewed here.

Music was sourced from here and we were able to use it under it's CC By 3.0 License.
